Terms of sale and returns

These terms apply when you buy an artwork on this website as a consumer. They do not limit your rights under Swedish and EU consumer law. Last updated 2026-10-03.

2. Prices and payment

Prices are in Swedish kronor (SEK) and are the total you pay. Delivery within the EU is included. No VAT is added: artists selling their own work below the Swedish turnover limit are exempt from VAT.

Payment is made by card or another method offered on Stripe's secure checkout page. Your card details go directly to Stripe and are never seen or stored by us.

3. Your order

Every artwork is an original and there is only one of each. The purchase is binding when your payment is completed and you receive the order confirmation. If, in the rare case, a work has been sold to someone else at the same moment, we will tell you straight away and refund your payment in full within 14 days.

4. Delivery

We deliver to addresses in the EU. Your artwork is carefully packed and sent within 5 working days of your order. If we cannot deliver within 30 days, we will contact you, and you may cancel the purchase for a full refund.

5. If the artwork arrives damaged

We carry the risk for the artwork until it has been delivered to you. Please check the package and the artwork when it arrives. If anything is damaged, email us photos of the packaging and the artwork as soon as you can (reporting within two months of discovering the damage is always in time). Keep the packaging. We will then, as you prefer, arrange a repair or take the artwork back at our cost and refund you in full. Your rights under the Swedish Consumer Sales Act (konsumentköplagen) apply in full.

6. Right of withdrawal, returns and refunds

You have the right to change your mind and withdraw from the purchase within 14 days of the day you (or someone you name) receive the artwork, without giving a reason.

• How: tell us clearly before the 14 days end, for example by email to lisaaronssonkonst@outlook.com. You can use the form below, but you don't have to.
• Sending it back: return the artwork to the address in section 1 within 14 days of telling us. You pay the return shipping. Please pack it as carefully as it arrived and use a tracked, insured service: the artwork is your responsibility until it reaches us.
• Refund: we refund the full price, including the original delivery, within 14 days of receiving your notice, to the same payment method. We may wait to refund until we have received the artwork or proof that you have sent it, whichever comes first.
• Condition: you may examine the artwork as you would in a shop. If its value is reduced because it was handled more than needed for that, we may deduct the loss of value from the refund.

The right of withdrawal does not apply to a work made to your own specification (a commission). For commissions, we agree the terms with you in writing before work starts.

7. Faults and complaints

If the artwork has a fault that was not caused by you, you have the rights given by the Swedish Consumer Sales Act. Contact us within a reasonable time after you notice the fault (within two months is always in time) and no later than three years after you received the artwork.

8. Disputes

Please contact us first; we want to solve any problem with you directly. If we cannot agree, you can turn to the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes (Allmänna reklamationsnämnden, arn.se). If you live in another EU country, the European Consumer Centre in your country can help. Swedish law applies, without limiting the mandatory consumer protection of the country you live in.
